Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Honeygasm websites, apps, pages, and services that link to it. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, model providers, or authentication providers that have their own privacy policies.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Honeygasm. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated when you use the service, and information from authentication and infrastructure providers.

• Account information, such as your email address, language preference, user ID, and authentication provider identifiers.
• Authentication information from Google OAuth, including the account identifier, email address, verification status, and profile claims that Google may include in the sign-in credential. We discard display-name and profile-image claims during authentication and do not store or use them for your Honeygasm account.
• Optional fictional persona settings, such as a roleplay gender, age, and creative description. These are creative inputs for character interactions and do not need to describe your real-world identity.
• Chat and story interaction content, including messages you send, AI responses, chat room metadata, affection or interaction state, and related generation metadata.
• Technical and security information, such as IP address, user agent, trace identifiers, session identifiers, timestamps, error events, and authentication/session events.
• Device, browser, and usage information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
• When native advertising is available, Google Mobile Ads may collect IP addresses (including general location inferred from them), app or device identifiers, advertising identifiers when available and permitted, ad views and interactions, crash reports, and performance diagnostics. When you choose to watch an optional ad in a web browser, Google AdSense may collect IP addresses (including general location inferred from them), cookie and similar browser identifiers, browser and device information, ad views and interactions, and performance diagnostics. Non-personalized advertising still involves data processing.
• Advertising privacy choices and a self-declared age group used to select advertising protections. We save your current age group (13–17 or 18 or older), or an under-13 advertising restriction, with your account, declaration version and timestamps. We do not collect your date of birth for advertising or use fictional persona ages. The declaration remains until you correct it or delete your account; account deletion removes this advertising profile. A saved under-13 restriction cannot be changed through self-service; contact support if it is incorrect. Self-declaration is not identity verification.
• Reward verification records, including an opaque reward-session identifier, ad-unit identifier, transaction identifier, completion timestamp, reward amount, and the credit entry associated with your account.
• Uploaded media or admin-managed content if you use features that upload or manage images, videos, or story assets.

3. Sources of information

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from authentication providers such as Google when you choose to sign in, and from service providers that help us operate the service.

4. How we use information

We use information for the following purposes:

• Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve Honeygasm.
• Authenticate users, create and manage sessions, and protect accounts.
• Generate AI character responses and maintain chat continuity.
• Store chat history and related interaction state so the service can function across sessions.
• Request non-personalized ads in the native apps and web browsers where available, apply advertising privacy choices and age protections, measure ad delivery, prevent invalid traffic, and verify and credit completed rewards.
• Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, security incidents, policy violations, and technical errors.
• Debug, analyze, and improve reliability, safety, latency, and user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. AI processing and service providers

When you send a chat message, Honeygasm may process your recent conversation, character information, optional fictional persona settings, interaction state, and prompt metadata through AI infrastructure and model service providers to generate a response.

Honeygasm uses AI infrastructure, gateway, and model service providers to deliver AI functionality. These providers process prompts, responses, and related technical data as service providers or processors for the purpose of delivering and securing the service.

In the iOS app, Honeygasm asks for your explicit permission before sending chat messages or related conversation context to third-party AI model providers. If you do not grant this permission, AI chat cannot operate. You can decline by leaving the confirmation screen, signing out, or managing or deleting your account.

Do not include sensitive personal information, confidential information, or information about other people in chat messages unless you are comfortable with that information being processed to provide the service.

Honeygasm does not use chat content for purposes outside the operation, safety, maintenance, and improvement of the service unless we provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law.

6. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:

• Infrastructure, hosting, database, storage, security, observability, and analytics providers.
• Authentication providers, such as Google, when you use their sign-in services.
• AI gateway and model providers that process prompts and responses to provide AI functionality.
• Google AdMob and its advertising services when native advertising is available, for ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics, and fraud prevention. Google receives an opaque reward-session reference for reward verification; we do not include your chat messages, fictional persona, email address, or account ID in our ad requests.
• Google AdSense and its advertising services when you choose to watch an optional ad in a web browser, for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. We do not include your chat messages, fictional persona, email address, or account ID in our web ad requests.
• Professional advisers, auditors, or legal representatives when reasonably necessary.
• Government authorities, courts, or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, security, and service integrity.
• Successors or affiliates in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

7. Cookies, local storage, and session technologies

Honeygasm uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect OAuth flows, remember session and current legal-document acceptance state, prevent replay or abuse, and operate the app. Some of these technologies are necessary for the service to work.

Native iOS and Android apps may offer optional Google AdMob rewarded ads. We request non-personalized ads and limit ad content to Google's Teen rating or lower. Users aged 13–17 receive additional conservative advertising restrictions; users aged 18 or older follow the applicable regional consent flow. An unanswered age question or an under-13 answer prevents a native ad request. Selecting an age group is not consent to personalized advertising.

Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform presents advertising privacy choices before ads may be requested. When available, open your profile and select Ad privacy choices to review or withdraw those choices. If your choices prevent an ad request, that ad will not load. You can decline an optional ad offer. General acceptance of this Privacy Policy does not replace advertising consent.

The current native ad integration does not request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission or use IDFA for tracking. Android advertising identifiers can be reset or deleted in device settings. Other permitted identifiers and technical data may still be processed for non-personalized ads. Google explains its processing at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Unsupported app versions use our own house video ads instead of this native AdMob integration.

In a web browser, you may choose to watch an optional Google AdSense rewarded ad to receive chat credits. If no ad is available, we show our own house video ad instead. We request non-personalized web ads. Non-personalized ads still use cookies or similar technologies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud prevention. Where required, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google's certified consent management platform asks for your choices before these technologies are used, and you can review or change them by opening your profile and selecting Ad privacy choices. Declining does not prevent you from using the service or watching an ad, but ads may then be limited or unavailable.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain accounts and chat history, secure the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business operations.

Some chat messages or generated data may be deleted or expire automatically depending on product behavior, safety settings, or operational cleanup rules. Security logs and audit records may be retained for longer when needed to prevent abuse or investigate incidents.

9. Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, deletion, correction, portability, or restriction of certain personal information. You may also have rights to object to or opt out of certain processing.

10. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, may have additional privacy rights. These may include rights to know or access personal information, delete personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, opt out of certain sales or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. Our native AdMob and web AdSense integrations request non-personalized ads and do not intentionally use chat content or account identity for cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising services still receive the technical data described above. The legal meaning of sale or sharing can extend beyond monetary exchanges; you may contact support@honeygasm.com to exercise applicable opt-out rights. Before introducing personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising, we will update this notice and provide required consent and opt-out mechanisms.

If Honeygasm becomes subject to additional state privacy notice, opt-out, or appeal requirements, we will provide the notices and request methods required by those laws.

11. Children and minors

Honeygasm is not directed to children under 13, and users under 13 may not use the service. If an account declares an under-13 age group, we retain a minimal advertising restriction with that account to prevent subsequent AdMob requests; this record is removed when the account is deleted. This advertising control is not identity verification or a complete service-wide age check. Users who are under the age of majority where they live may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Honeygasm, contact us at support@honeygasm.com so we can take appropriate action.

12. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. International processing

Honeygasm and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those where you live.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the service or another reasonable method. The effective date above shows when this Privacy Policy was last updated.
